Make up your mind.
If you’ve seen the latest Vampire Diaries episode, then you’ll understand my disposition. The show is great and all, but it can be such a drag sometimes. It’s this whirlwind of vampires, werewolves and witches. Get this, all happening in a small town! Is there a certain criteria that writers should follow if they put on air/film a vampire flick, or in this case a T.V show? In reference to Twilight and True Blood of course.
The Vampire Diaries did put up a higher caliber than the rest. I give them that. Although my judgement is a bit clouded by the god-like Damon Salvatore and the equally stunning Elena Gilbert, worth is more meaningful in this show. It deals with family, friendship and there you have it – choices. So that’s what it’s all about, this post, really. Damon or Stefan? Both equally capable of ripping your heart out, and I mean that literally. Both are easy on the eyes, although Damon is admittedly more eye candy. And of course, both have a certain swoon factor that just makes a girl’s decision either the best or the worst for her.
Take your pick. Is it the kind-hearted Stefan, who we all know will keep Elena safe and sound. The bookish attitude making sure to keep her from harms way? Or is Damon, the brooding yet passionate creature who is just full of surprises far beyond Elena’s dreams. Who keeps her wanting more yet darkens the whole thought of compassion.
By the way, I’m rooting for Damon and Elena.
